Well, I deemed this to be appropriate, since WoF's one-year anniversary is just around the corner. :')
Where we are now:

I'd honestly say where WoF is at the moment is it's all time low. We've never had this few players, and lack of excitement! This is not good, but it can be fixed.
Where we will be:
----------------------------
I know as soon as 1.3 comes out, the population will DRAMATICALLY increase. I say this not only because of the map reset, but the renewed interest in players in playing Minecraft, this includes myself. Hopefully, we will be back at the 60/70 players on at all time.
How we will get there:
------------------------------------
These goals set aren't too far fetched. All we need are some dedicated players, and the reinforcement done by our outstanding staff. With the near addition of players, more staff will be needed. These future staff members will have to be dedicated, helpful, and of course, kind.
Estimated time to achieve goals:

I'd estimate that within 2 weeks of 1.3's release, we are back at our best. With the bumping, or commenting, on the WoF minecraftforums.net thread, and the voting for best server on planetminecraft.com, we can reach the top even quicker. See below for links.
How can I help?:

Although many people may just say "Oh, just donate. That's the only way to help!," this is not true. Donating helps, a lot, but some things cannot be bought (or rather bought cheap). Such things would be:
1) Being active on forums
2) Being active on the server
3) Helping new players
4) Bumping minecraftforums.net thread
5) Voting for top server
6) Recruiting players any other way
